ALQS....finished!

So here is the completed quilt......I hope ................ likes it - I had fun drawing up the design and making it ..... even went back to the shop today and bought a few more of the brights.......it was Cheryl's fault (that is for the benefit of the Prince)..........it will be off in the post early next week....I would certainly sign up for this swap again it has really made me work outside my usual colours and it has been fun!

So back to the sewing room to have a general tidy up and finish the applique on Emmy's Braids which has been waiting while I have been playing with the "sunburst" quilt.......

On Monday Sharon is bringing back a quilt which she has quilted for me - I am looking forward to getting the binding on and having another "finish"....... I will be sorting through the "quilts in waiting" and sending another couple back with Sharon.....

Ooooooo! I like this finishing thing!!

'Til next time...................Lorraine

Hey Lorraine... that quilt is AWESOME! I love the colours... it's also not something I would normally do - a bit out of my comfort zone... good on you for trying something a bit different! Excellent job!! I love it!

Hey Lorraine! WOW! Did you have to wear your sunnies to sew this fab quilt?!?! Tee! Hee! Hee! Sunburst is definitely a great name for it and I'm sure the lucky person receiving it will love it to bits!! Can't wait to see your next "Finish" - only problem is, I get a little depressed at how little I seem to be finishing off!! Oh well, am enjoying the journey so that's the main thing!! Bear Hugs! Lorraine, spectacular quilt. Little quilts are so satisfying because you can finish them so quickly.
