And suddenly it's Tuesday......!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.......there was no stitching in this house over the weekend but lots of laughter and good times spent with the kids which is what I think Mother's Day is all about! Saturday I spent sitting in the sun watching the football......no win this time around but it's not all about winning....is it?? Sunday the boys cooked brunch on the bbq ...well Wade did
with assistance from Mark.....!

After eating we had a lazy Sunday afternoon and watched the dvd the kids bought me......"PS....I Love You"....... I had seen it at the movies when it first came out and enjoyed it.....the girls thought it was great....the boys....well.....I think it was more "endure" then "enjoy"..... then all of a sudden it was Sunday night and thoughts turned to the working week........
I did get a chance to have a quick look in blog land over the weekend though and did some "lurking" around the ALQS site......there are some great looking quilts being finished.......a bit daunting in some respects!! I am really enjoying Lenora's blog....hop over and have a look at her tips for making time for sewing....this is one busy lady!! Mel has been out and about at Boomer Beach with Leanne ......and has some great pics to show for it! That is about it from me for today....I have a mug swap parcel to send off......I did get the applique on to the Emmy's Braid quilt......just need to get to the sewing machine now.......and I think it may be back to the drawing board for the ALQS design.......I have a week's leave booked for the last week in May - a large proportion of the week will (hopefully) be spent in the sewing room......watch this space!!
'til next time.............................Lorraine
