My only "finish" for this weekend......the next block of Lynette Anderson's Noah's Ark BOM....and they are a pretty cute couple of cows!
Saturday was our stitching gtg and we said farewell to Linda for a few months.....she liked the needle case by the way.....I had lunch with the girls and went to watch Mark play football....the team had their first win for the season from three games played.....he played well and I enjoyed the afternoon......I always take some stitching along but never get it out because once the game starts I have to watch! Sunday I managed to get into my sewing room late in the day and the applique pieces for Emmy's braids are all cut out ready to stitch.....I was going to finish that this weekend wasn't I???? the best laid plans.........
I have also been thinking about my little quilt for Another Little Quilt Swap - I have changed my mind so many times - the pattern - the fabric - but I keep coming back to one pattern....now to choose the colours - my swap partner only lists one "dislike" ..... so I won't mention it here or she/he will probably work out who I am making for......so the aim is to start that this week! I know I have plenty of time but am looking forward to starting now I have made up my mind on just what to make........I will post a "sneak peek" later in the week.
The weekend has flown by once again and I am sure the working week will go by just as quickly - well almost!
'Til next time.............Lorraine
