The making of the little quilt.......

The little quilt I have made for the ALQS was inspired by this article featuring Jane Sassaman in Fons & Porters Love of Quilting magazine...from Jan/Feb 2007......I was browsing thru some mags for ideas for the little quilt when I came across Jane's "Suns and Moons" quilt......I think I actually purchased the magazine because of this project! So thank you Jane !! and check out Jane's blog for some really fabulous designs.....wow!!!

And check out this book........................Looks like a lot of fun to be had here!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I received this package from Liisa for the Biggest Morning Tea Mug swap....

Thank you Liisa...the choccies are long gone, but I have a couple of new "best friends"....the mug is now the one I use all the time - and below you will see the tiny snips that were in the package......they are soooooo handy.....and live where ever I am stitching......

....and speaking of stitching.......there has been none today.......! but I have been in my sewing room tidying up the aftermath of my stitching frenzy on "sunburst".........

'Til next time......Lorraine
