Meet Miss Milly............

Was there a rabbit on my list of things to finish?????...........Well...no......but when I received my copy of Rosalie's fabulous book..Gift......there was Milly and I couldn't resist........I had to make her....I finished dressing her and went downstairs to get something to drink and what did I find when I got back.............

.......blogging.....and at her age!!! She has decided that she doesn't want to live with a granny and is on the look out for somewhere else to live.......somewhere she might have some fun with other rabbits........

.....she has been having a good look around and I heard a shout of joy which made me drop my thimble.........so she has obviously found somewhere......but won't tell me where she is going....says it's a secret and she will get her new owner to let me know when she has arrived.....super secret Milly!!

There are quite a few projects in Gift that are "must makes" .........and I was pleased with the way Milly turned out ..... even if she doesn't want to stay here with me..........

My lovely friend Cheryl (no blog) has loaned me a sewing machine until I get mine back from being serviced.....we caught up for coffee yesterday morning and I met her new puppy, Buddy....he is very cute and running his new parents ragged...LOL....Cheryl is usually the calmest most "under control" person........but she is now suffering "puppy brain".....and loving every minute of it......Cheryl and Buddy went off to the vet for puppy shots and I bought home the Janome and got acquainted.....for quite some hours......LOL......I have two little quilts pinned and ready to hand quilt......and the binding is ready to be stitched on as soon as I finish quilting......

I finished this ...................................

.......the Stitcher's Treasure from Cinderberry Stitches...... (and of course Milly)......who as we speak is packing her belongings.....a pincushion...!!!....strange thing for a rabbit to have......and getting ready to leave.....I should be sad but she thinks she will have way more fun in her new home so I have to be happy for her!!

I have managed to catch up with some blog reading, a bit of housework (ok a very tiny bit of housework), and make a complete hash of my footy tipping once again......with the help of a couple of teams who had been given no chance of winning their particular matches......! Good on them....but not good for tipsters.....lucky this is just for fun at work tipping and not money or anything...would have "done my dough" long ago....LOL........

The Prince is on his way home......and I am about to vacate the sewing room and start tea.........he will now be falling of his chair laughing when he reads that.....me.....start tea.......LOL.....now that's funny!!!

Oh.......I also found out my swap partner in the cup cake swap.......yay.....can't wait to get that underway......hello to Doris.......check out her blog....her work is amazing....! Not sure what I will be sending but I love anything cupcake......! Should be fun to put together.

Last week we had a scare with Chelsea ...... our beloved cocker spaniel if you are a new reader......she didn't want her tea (alarm bells immediately - she is never off her food!)...and grew more and more ill (I won't go into the details here!).....she spent a day in doggy hospital and came home still very quiet but a little more with it......a couple of days on and she is back to her old self........thank goodness....the vet isn't sure what caused it but this is a dog who devoured all of Mark's Easter eggs without so much as a stomach growl and has in the past eaten things I thought for sure would bring her undone.....unless she found something dead (which may have been poisoned) in the backyard and ate that....we don't know.....we have had a good look around and can't see anything (not that any trace would be left by Miss Chelsea!!)....so will be keeping a close eye on her......

I feel as though I have accomplished quite a bit this weekend! The two days have just flown......

Have a great week....'Til next time...............Lorraine

Hey Lorraine! Miss Milly is a cutie! And I'm sure that it's NOT that she doesn't want to live with you, but that she knows you have lots of company and she needs to go and let someone else know that 'somebunny loves them'! Tee! Hee! Hee! Must have been critter weekend, as I finished a special bear for a friend's birthday. Can't post about it til after her b'day as she sometimes pops in to visit my blog!! Will keep everyone in suspence! Well done with your stitching frenzy! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)
