Way too much fun being had here........................

If you are the Prince and you are reading this......LOOK AWAY NOW!! LOL........(which of course had made him all the more curious!!)............you know how I was going to do lots of cleaning and cooking and food shopping today......well.....................the posty has just been..................so enough said ...................there has been a little change of plan!!....well a pretty big change of plan actually!!

...........last week after seeing Maree's doll quilts I signed up here.........and the parcel with the doll quilt "makings' for June and July arrived this morning...........very exciting........the Homespun magazine arrived yesterday along with some cupcake sweetness from here.....so this morning I have been playing with possible fabric combos for my cupcake swap partner Doris......although it may come to pass that none of these fabrics are used in the finished project.....I'm just playing at this stage........

.....Doris has been showcasing some of her unfinished projects on her blog lately......along with some of her finished quilts which are fabulous! There must be something in the air - I have caught the finishing "bug" along with lots of other bloggers! I think Peg had a bit to do with that.......Better the finishing bug than the 'flu of course!

Being in finishing mode hasn't stopped me from starting new things tho!! Hence the doll quilts sign up......!!! Homespun has some great projects this time including a fantastic redwork quilt by Bronwyn Hayes.....with a Christmas theme.....must make a start on that one!! ......Oh I crack myself up!!!

......Helen has a new swap here........and Linda is going to be announcing a new one soon....to follow on from the pincushion swap which was fun....Linda has told me my pincushion is on its way so still have a parcel to look forward to.......I have just been to Linda's blog and she has the logo for Helen's swap up already......I am still thinking!!! LOL.......

So I have had a fun start to the day........what's that ....... it's lunch time.......! LOL......time flies when you are having fun!!

'Til next time..................Lorraine

No such thing as 'way too much fun'! I'm glad you adopted Quiltygal's motto today - Quilting forever, housework whenever. (I am inspired by that motto every day!!!) So many pretty things. Love this post!
