Sooky Sooky La La Loz........!!

This morning I decided I would vacuum before I started sewing.....bad decision! LOL.......somehow a heavy wooden chair got caught up in the hose and it landed on my ankle ...right on the tip of the bone....yikes....I was speechless (now that is something!!)......the Prince saw me hopping around and came to the rescue with some ice........what a sooky sooky la la I am........but look at the size of that ankle.....oh.....ok....actually that is the size it normally is.......LOL

........it's all better now...!!....I was able to continue on with the vacuuming thru the rest of the house (what a trouper!) and then I decided to make a batch of lamingtons for the Prince ........ooops no pictures.....Mark was leaving to go to the city to visit his GF so three lamingtons went with him.....I thought he was taking to share with Terri but he said they wouldn't make it to town......and besides Terri is allergic to egg (there are two in the cake) so he didn't want to risk an allergic reaction...what a thoughtful boy!!! I am sure the rest won't last long they are the Prince's favourite!

I finally made it into the sewing room and have put the borders on Dylan's quilt - I will post a pic when I can find somewhere I can get a good shot of it.....bit bright outside at the moment.....! Yes we have heat.......and the garden is trying to do spring and is wilting under summer conditions! I went out the front earlier and took some pics of our little crabapple tree......it is only small but I just love crabapple blossom......!! ..........the bees were enjoying it as well.......busy....busy.........!

The Banksia Rose is looking lovely as well.............

Miss Chelsea was out the front enjoying the shade ......... she loves to ignore when I want her to look at me for a photo........................no....not looking!!!

I am off to Lobethal tomorrow to spend the day with Helen Stubbings - hosted by the Patchwork Apple - looking forward to the day and also to catching up with a couple of bloggers I have only met online to date.......hopefully the weather will be cooler tomorrow.....and it is always a little cooler there than here.

'Til next time........................Lorraine

What have I told you about letting the "subjects" do that house work stuff??? If you would have listened, you would have had more time to work on Dylan's quilt...see?

I love the crab apple blossoms, too, but I have to wait till late April for mine,,,,drat!

I don't think I could have possibly continued on with the vacumming. Would have had to put the ankle up and browse through a magazine or two.
Miss Chelsea is gorgeous!
