The best laid plans......

I had plans this week........that each night I would do a little bit more on gifts I have been working on....but the sewing room has remained in the same state it was in on the weekend....no progress at all......fabric and patterns lolling about the table tops, the ironing board, the floor.......pretty much everywhere...chaos reigns!..........I have been working back trying to get everything under control so I can start my holidays tomorrow night.....throw in a Christmas function and ......well......I give up.....! .....still.......I am hoping that the weekend will provide me with the time I need to get some projects finished........Monday will be spent going to the city to shop...should be loads of fun!!......I am making a list.....checking it twice....you know the deal.......and we will have the whole day so won't be rushing.....then home to finish wrapping gifts and .....well......enjoying the run into Christmas day.....I always set myself too much to do but am not beating myself up about the possibility of not getting everything done this year....a girl can only do so much...! The Festival of Loz is winding down......giving way to other festivities....but I will leave you with a pic of a couple of lads having fun at Granny's birthday BBQ!
'til next time.......................Lorraine

Oh Lorraine, thank you for that - you knew just how I was feeling, I can tell. My siblings have left all this to me and it's hard. That decision for your dad must have been so hard to make.I feel fo ryou. We are just doing the best we can, right?

It seems like there is always something to do and we never get finished. It all comes together whether we are ready or not. Enjoy the holidays.

Hey Lorraine! They say life is what happens when you're planning something else ... I think there are a few of us feeling like that this Christmas!! I've got to the point where I make a list of what I'd LIKE to get done, then cross things off as I go and if it doesn't get crossed off today, it just goes on tomorrow's list and I start again! One day, one step at a time! Time with friends and family is far more precious than crossing jobs off lists, so enjoy going with the flow and hope you have a Happy Christmas! Bear Hugs! KRIS
