Christmas Day...and SSCS goodness!!

Remember these from my previous post?

..the kids loved them and found lots of ways of filling them.....................(other than with some of the goodies they received!)...........

...with their feet.......and arms.......!

We had a fabulous morning with the kids and their partners......the boys put together breakfast.....

.........and helped with the table .......................

.....thanks of course must go to the Prince who shopped for the food they prepared!!....they are way more in love with the camera though!

I was spoiled rotten by everyone - including my SSCS partner - Katie! WOW.....thank you so much .....!! Katie thoughtfully sent things local to North Carolina........beautfully packaged....

........a purse made from a skirt found at a local thrift shop......this is a good shot of the purse but the colours are shown better in the next photo.......

the contents of the parcel.....

.............I love this little plaque..........Katie are you sure you haven't been peeking at my dusty window sills....!
............A lovely stitchery pattern from the owner of one of Katie's local quilt shops...along with some fabric and Valdani thread to complete it......

Thanks Katie............and thanks to Donna for organising the swap......! I had fun participating and it was lovely to have a parcel from a bloggy friend under the tree!

Well....lunch is about to be served.....the Prince has outdone himself ...the turkey looks fab......I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and may you be blessed in the New Year with health and creativity (and maybe more time! LOL)

'til next time...........Lorraine

Such creative people to think of putting the stockings on their hands and feet. Funny picture!
You certainly received some nice things from your trade. The purse made from recycled fabric is a good idea.
