Not long now.....and some Christmas baking...

I love being on holidays!! .....has there been any stitching done? ........well no......but there has been some wrapping of gifts and a little bit of Christmas baking......and lots of sleeping!! LOL........ After wrapping gifts today I realised I needed to get something else for one member of the family...won't mention who in case they read this blog entry....chances of that are slim but you just never know!.....so off to the shops in the morning and I am done! The Prince went "hunting and gathering" this morning so the food shopping is done......so I think we are pretty much set for the day........I am thinking I won't be spending too much time in the sewing room until after Christmas though......but I can wait....! I have been enjoying reading blogs and catching up with everyone's decorating and prepartions for the holidays...........it is looking like a warm day for Christmas day ......around 28C here which will be pleasant. Here are a couple of pics of the shortbread and mini puddings I made today...........

...........stacks of shortbread stars tied with ribbon.............

These little mini puddings are tasty little morsels and are easy to make.........the hardest part is not eating them all myself!........

I am enjoying being on holidays and having the opportunity to "play" at home.......I will leave you with a pic of Miss Chelsea who was sulking that we were going out again yesterday..................................

"here they go again....leaving me outside....I should be inside on my comfy chair.......but this bit of garden will have to do for now........but I don't have to be happy about it!"

'til next time......................Lorraine

Hey Lorraine! Oooohh! Those mini puddings look YUMMY! I made a double batch of apricot balls and some Mars Bar slice and that's as far as I've got with Christmas cooking - ran out of time! Enjoy your holidays and we'll look forward to update photos once you manage to hit the sewing room! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Hi Loz, Cookies look yum. I'm all done for christmas, even wrapped the pressies last night. Boss said we will knock off early tomorrow and go to the pub for lunch which is fine by me.

Have a good one.
