'Twas the Night Before Christmas.........

.........and all thru the house..................was the sound of the sewing machine running hot! I had decided that the stockings wouldn't get finished but today at about 5pm I decided I would finish them..........I had done the stitcheries ages ago and it just remained to put them together.....there was only four......not a problem....!! I crack myself up sometimes....what was I thinking......but here they are all done!

It was great to get into the sewing room and finish something........!

I decorated the Christmas cake today and had some fondant left over so made a little snowman to sit next to it! I think he looks pretty cute with his little cherry stalk arms and M&M hat.....he was fun to make!Mark and Terri took over the kitchen this afternoon to make Sherry Balls...minus the sherry to make them "child friendly"..............Terri was keen for Mark to help.....but after a few minutes I think she realised she would have had them made much faster on her own.....but they had fun!

........and the Sherry Balls are pretty yummy! Well only about 30 minutes until Christmas Day......I better be getting to bed .......Santa won't stop if I am still awake!!! .........and speaking of Santa.....my SSCS parcel is under the tree unopened!! I am proud of myself for waiting......but then again the Prince spirited it away as soon as it arrived and only bought it out again tonight so I didn't really have a choice! LOL.........

....... to all my family and friends I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Creative New Year.............starting this blog introduced me to a whole new world.....and the journey has been fun............I look forward to catching up with everyone in the new year! Keep safe!

'til next time.................Lorraine
