Pat, Pizza, Pete...........and PIF

I received a package from the very generous Pat today..............

.........with best wishes for the new year................

Lots of snowman goodies......look even buttons for his coat and a cute carrot button for his nose....there was also a little hanger and some Mary Englebreit goodness as well........Merry Quilting indeed! Hopefully I will have the little snowman ready for next Christmas!! Thanks so much Pat....and I hope your snowman pattern lands soon!

I am planning a snowman theme for this Christmas..............! I saw so many fabulous snowman decorations and quilts on blogs this past Christmas.....a lot of them on Pat's blog!

Mark has decided he needs to learn to cook some basic meals so during the week he put his hand up to cook pizzas for dinner.......here he is putting the finishing touches to his creation before it goes into the oven....concentration plus!

..................which brings me to Pete..............Pete has been a part of the family for a while now..............since Mark came home to live for a few months......(a couple of years ago)......Today Pete left home but it was a one way trip.......Pete is ....or rather ......was ............Mark's car.......Pete the Pulsar.................

He has been a trooper.......but the time has come for an upgrade so Pete has been traded! I think the 40C temp the other day was the final straw....Pete doesn't have air conditioning! So goodbye Pete..... welcome..........?? I am yet to "meet" the new wheels!

My PIF gifties have been received by Kris, Nic and Levineke.........so I can post some pics of them......I also included a calico bag and some Angas Park goodies with the gifts.............

Here is Kris' parcel..........

........Nic's......................and Levineke's......................

Thanks for participating in my PIF girls...and I hope you enjoy making your PIF gifts to send on.....!

Almost the end of my first week back at work.......it's been busy but nice to be back...(did that sound sincere????)
.........and a little something for those of you who think the Prince does absolutely everything for me......yep........shopping......who would have thought! LOL

'Til next time........................Lorraine

Your PIF projects are just lovely. Especially the printed ribbon trims!

word verification is ganic, which perhaps refers to vegetables grown WITH the assistance of pesticides

Hi Lorraine,
Lucky girls who received your PIF gifts they look very special. Mmmm I hope those pizzas tasted as good as they looked. Always good to have another cook in the house!!
I can imagine driving in a car without air cond in the hot SA weather wouldn't be much fun!

Hey Loz, Your PIF goodies look fantastic Im sure the girls loved them. I too said goodbye to my pulsar and also Rays Magna - heap of $#@%!! we now SHARE a new Holden Viva Wagon which is just wonderful ... its just the SHARING that is proving just a fraction difficult .. Im sure we will get used to it. Although the footy season will be the real test.
Cheers Sue
