I was very lucky to win this pillow and again...thanks Kellie! The workmanship is fantastic and the colours are wonderful....can you tell I like this pillow...sorry to go on but I am just thrilled to have this in my home.....!
I did a little bit of stitching on the weekend...continued with my "love affair" with these little pouches.....this little one is in pvc....which turned out ok!
I prepped the first block of Gail's free BOM to stitch during the evenings this week.....but then decided I would start it last night....and oops...all done...LOL.....
I have decided to do Anne Sutton's free BOM in wool and have ordered some from Karen......this is a great website and Karen is really helpful......I love her blog as well!!
I also finished this on the weekend:
.......some of you may remember that this (from a Leanne Beasley pattern) started out as a wallhanging at a weekend workshop at Loxton in 2007.....and has finished up as a cushion/pillow in 2009!! Nice to have it finished though!!
Today's post also bought January's Pin Cushion of the Month.....another creation from Leanne! this will go with the others that I haven't even started yet!! LOL....I will get there.....slow and steady.............
Take care...............'til next time..................Lorraine

Lucky you Loz, that pillow is a gorgeous work of art.
I haven't started on any of my pin cushions either, but Leanne's could be a good place to start i think.
I love the basket pillow you made. So pretty.
Also, the pillow you won is really nice. I like the idea of the surprise design on the back of it.
Wow!!! That pillow is the most gorgeous.

cheers
You a lucky lady...the pillow is gorgeous. You have me confused! Thought you were working so much and little time left for quilting...you caught me off guard! LOL
Oh congrats on your win. Love her blog. I'm intrigued by your pvc pouch. I made an oilcloth lunch bag for my daughter and now she'd like a zipper pouch for her markers and such. I'm zipper shy and working on the oilcloth was not much fun.
A happy girl alround I'D say. A cushion to cherish and the making of a new cushion Congratulations.
What a great win!!!! Lucky you. I am so, so tempted to sign up for the Pincushion Of the Month!!!! You have been, very, very busy!
Lorraine I'm so pleased that you like it and very pleased it has gone to a good home :)!
