Big Day for Granny Loz and Daisy Jayne.........

Marc arrived this morning and we dodged the rain and packed the car......first stop was a fabric shop in the main street of Angaston........then we set off..........as we were driving down the Main North Road following a four wheel drive with some interesting looking luggage in the back......I said.........."wonder if they are off to Inspired Stitches" .........when we stopped at the next set of lights we realised it was Janelle and her family......small world!! We were waving and I am sure they wondered what we were doing......!! LOL......crazy South Aussies was probably the call!!
We arrived at the venue and managed to find the right building with the help of a nice young man on a ride-on mower....very helpful.....the room was a hive of activity with Sarah and her family putting the finishing touches to the setting up and Leanne, Melly and Rosalie unpacking their goodies.......we picked up the key for Marc's unit and left them to it.......Janelle and her family arrived as we were leaving and we managed to convince her that we were quite sane.....I think.....!!

After settling Marc into her unit we called a cab and did what all self respecting girls do when faced with some time off ...............we went shopping in the city......more red shoes.....boots actually have joined the Granny Loz stable......along with a couple of other "must haves"......the Prince arrived in town (white ute not pumkin coach) and whisked us off to a beach side restaurant for dinner......we have just arrived back at our hotel after dropping Marc off in the dorm....read for that three bedroom unit! Nice digs!
I have purchased some really expensive internet access to catch up on some emails and do a quick post......! Looking forward to the next two days...should be loads of fun and everyone we ran into at the venue today was in great spirits.......!
Anzac Day tomorow and we are going to the dawn service in the morning.......the weather is cool with showers predicted but I think there will be a big turn out at the War Memorial to pay tribute to our service men and women......Lest We Forget!
'til next time...........Lorraine

Hope you have a wonderful time! I wonder if you'll make friends with Janelle... or she'll shy away because of your exuberant waving?! ;) Hope you enjoy yourself... stitch stitch stitch!!
