Christmas in July continues!!

The Christmas in July theme continued today with the arrival of my swap parcel from May Kristin.....
Someone had to get in on the act and check out the package........

The parcel revealed this wonderful bag.....fab linen fabric with wonderful stitchery...ric rac....a pieced panel and beads........this pic doesn't do it justice...

........pieced star on the front and stithery motif on the back......

Love everytihing about this!!....but wait there is more.........a Christmas tin with cute decorations inside.....three wool felt hearts with beading ....just exquisite! ...and a wool roving angel......a bit hard to get a good photograph of the angel but trust me she is cute!!

....a bag pattern and a Tilda stitchery.....with snowmen.....I think May Kristin has been reading my blog and has twigged that I like snowmen!!

...a cute bookmark that somehow didn't get photographed.......and this fantastic calendar!! May Kristin put so much thought into making this .......she borrowed pics from my blog to put this together........I love it.........and it is a great showcase of some of the projects I have done over the past year or so......

..........and January features the Patchability snowman wallhanging.........something to remind me of winter when it is summer..........

A lot of the projects have been given away for swaps / gifts so the calendar pics are a great reminder of some of my achievements over the past year or so........a very thoughtful gift and one which is much appreciated!

Thanks again to May Kristin and also to Stephanie and Linda for organising the swap..........it has been fun! My swap partner Amy has received the goodies I sent her....so for me this swap is complete.......I have also enjoyed checking out some new blogs to see some of the fab swap projects sent and received.

My Christmas in July experience is almost over......August looms ahead.....and not too far away.....this year is flying!!

'Til next time..........................Lorraine

Long time no chat. It was great to see your swap gifties. What a thoughtful gift the calendar was, May Kristen is so kind and you were very lucky. The house is looking wonderful. We are thinking of doing our kitchen, but very scared of the mess.
