Day One......and a finish....!!!

Day One was spent with the wonderful Natalie Bird.......the project most of us started on was a cute little bag.....and wonders will never cease...it is done...finished.....!! And there was still time to chat and browse in the shop....that was BROWSE.....(for the benefit of the Prince who may be reading this)....although given he has been hard at work ripping up the last remaining skerrick of carpet in the house (well downstairs at least) ready for the bedroom floor to be finished next week he has probably already called it a night....! Anyhoooo....I digress.......below is an out of focus pic of a couple of bags....on second thought I will just show you what we (Marc and I) made.........

Leanne was in Anni's group today but came to check on our progress during the afternoon....she was pretty excited by this little coin purse that Natalie was also teaching .........I think she has chosen it as her project for tomorrow......(btw if you follow the link over to Leanne's blog..check out the fantastic wall quilt she has made for her little great-niece!)

Natalie has a few of these little purse patterns.....one has "shoe money" embroidered on it......it was empty!! Perhaps she had already been shoe shopping....oh no ...that's right ....that was me...! shhhhhhhhh!
