I'm all Christmassed out!!

Following on from the Christmas in July swap I kept stitching Christmas goodies.......! I can't share the swap projects ....well...maybe just a sneak peek................

......but as I said I continued on in the Christmas theme and made this from the Christmas Cheer pattern my Janelle Wind........I have had this pattern for a while so it was nice to get to making it up.........

I changed the pattern a little and used this Christmas print instead of small squares in the main body of the bag and stitched the motif on the top of the bag in one colour.........

So.......a swap package on its way to someone ......somewhere.......and a finish for me.......gotta be happy with that! I will be taking a break from Christmas themed projects for a while though.....it will be here soon enough....the way this year is flying by!

Great news on the reno front........the painter phoned on the weekend to ask if it would be ok if he started on Monday instead of August 10......let me think about that.....hmmmm...yes...that would be fine.......!! Happy with that.....there is light at the end of the tunnel......a train???

Not much happening here.....most of the weekend was spent in the sewing room.......playing.....and next weekend hopefully we can start putting some of the house back where it belongs......! Until then ...... the working week stretches before me!

'Til next time.......Lorraine

Hey Loz, I've decided that you live in the right part of the world. It's cold 6 months before Christmas, so you feel like doing lots of fun projects. It's hard to think about it here when it's 100 degrees and then we panic when all of a sudden it's Oct or Nov and we're behind! LOL Can't wait to see the pics of the new paint.

Bonus! Great that things are moved up rather than back. All smiles, eh?

Loved your Christmas projects. Wish I was at the same place in my sewing corner. Pretty, pretty embroidery on that door hanger. I love Christmas decorations and have to restrain myself every year from buying more. But MAKING them, well, that's different!
