The end is nigh...................

.........for the the renos which are almost done...but the dishwasher IS done!......thank goodness for circuit breakers ..........the Prince was still holding the door when a flash and blue smoke heralded the end of the dishwasher's useful life.......luckily the circuit breaker did it's job and the Prince is still here! We unloaded the dishes and spent some quality time together..I washed and he dried.....LOL....we have had a productive day today....the passage lights are up.....the dining room furniture that was in the kitchen is now back where it belongs.....the "camp kitchen" in the family room has been dismantled and the floor washed and windows cleaned......and the kitchen is back to normal......except for the "dead" dishwasher........Speaking of kitchens....here is Mark in his new kitchen....well what there is of it at the moment...!

.....the slab was poured last week and the frame should start to go up soon.......Mark is now firmly entrenched in the "real world" of the land/home owner with the arrival this week of his first Council rates bill!

We have been busy around the house and although there have been some "interesting" times with things that haven't always gone to plan we have mostly kept our heads.......but this wasn't the case for this bunny............

I think he has done well to last this long as he was part of a basket I won in an Easter raffle.................and I think he has shrunk a little more since this pic was taken!! LOL

A taste of Spring here today with the temp around 27C.....I am not ready yet.......I am still enjoying winter......! Back to 16C tomorrow with some rain hopefully. .....and I am also hopeful of getting into the sewing room tomorrow.......wish me luck!

'Til next time..........................Lorraine

Lol! Loved the photo of Mark in his kitchen. We have built 3 houses and all of our kids have done that same thing! Thought you had produced a religious tract when I read the title of this post. Sorry to hear about your dishwasher. I really love mine (passionately). Dishes and I do NOT get on!

Oh no, the dishwasher, doing the dishes together is a good time for talking and listening, but like Kris I really love my dishwasher.
