Mojo is on her way home!!!

I am feeling much better ...... cupcakes always help don't they? .....oh and a tiny bit of retail therapy....thanks to all of you who left comments on my "Lost" post....I think I just overwhelmed myself with work and trying to get the house back to normal - there is that word again.....!!.....so I have decided to take baby steps and work on one room at a time.....and that idea seems to be working.....!! Meet the latest addition to the family.........this is my "attic refurbishment" piggy bank......

How cute is he!!!! The attic refurb is a long term project which is just as well as filling this little piggy won't happen overnight!

I have been thinking about new plates for the plate rack in the kitchen......white was right when the rack was pine...but now it is white a little colour is needed.......I was actually looking for plates when I found piggy............I will be going back to get them tomorrow....I couldn't make up my mind between two designs.......but have slept on it...and the decision is made............pics to come when I have them home and in the plate rack.....baby steps!!!

Speaking of "babies".....one of mine had a birthday last Friday......although at 26 she is hardly a baby!! Tonight was the first chance we had to catch up with her so I took an early minute from work and came home to whip up some cup cakes to have after dinner........Hapy Birthday Rhiannon!!

.....and look who is lurking in the background.......

........no cake for that little piggy!!!

I will leave you with a pic of the view from my chair in the lounge room......well it is sort of a lopsided view....LOL....a little like myself!

Thanks again for your kind words on the loss of my mojo.......she is on her way home....I can tell!!

'Til next time........................Lorraine

I'm looking forward to seeing where your mojo leads you. Slowly though, baby steps, don't scare her off again.

Yup, nothing like cupcakes to lure that Mojo home!

Happy Birthday to your daughter - I'm sure her as well as everyone enjoyed those yummy looking cupcakes. Glad your feeling your mojo coming home - it's frustrating when it goes on vacation and doesn't ask for permission. That pig is dang cute - good luck on filling it up. Let me know how that works, Mr. Farmhouse might like me to try that, lol.

Hugs - Karen

The sneak peak of your lounge room looks lovely, looking forward to seeing what plates you chose. I agree 'retail therapy' is always good for the soul!

Happy Birthday Rhiannon - cupcakes look delicious. I have a piggy bank in my sewing room - each night I put in the $1, $2 and 50c coins from my purse - surprising how quickly they add up for spending money at the quilt show or if I'm going on one of my little trips (makes for a heavy purse though).
