The patchwork shop has a 50% off sale....and I bought....

yep.....storage containers!! Tricia is selling a lot of display items from the shop and I bought these to use in the sewing room.....when I can get them in there!!!...at the moment they are sitting outside the door!! I did get in there today and spent some time working out whether to sew and then clean or clean and then sew.......I knew if I cleaned first I wouldn't get any sewing done....so I sewed.......pics later.....
I managed a couple of hours of cleaning and have corralled the fabrics that had "exploded" on to the floor on one side of the room....(it just reaffirmed I did entirely the right thing in not buying anymore fabric at Tricia's sale!)

I bought a few of these old bobbins which I will use to store ric rac......

........and I just liked them as well...!!

I found a little gift/homewares shop in Loxton and discovered it was having a sale.......last time I was there this cute little cupboard almost came home with me but I thought it was a bit too expensive.....but this time it was marked down to half price...........no contest!!

These words also came home with me.........

When I got home yesterday I unpacked the car and went food shopping - on the way back from the supermarket I stopped by to check on the progress of Mark's house......I was surprised to see the frame up since the timber was only delivered on Friday........

.........you would think he would do something about his front yard though!!! LOL......the windows were delivered today so if they are still there tomorrow they will be in next.......!

.....I have had a refreshing few days off.....and enjoyed spending the entire day in the sewing room today.....!

'Til next time......................Lorraine

WOW Loz Great purchases ... and boy do I love that little cupboard ... if you cant find a home for it I would happily take it off your hands for you :) Love all the colouring you did in your previous post as well ... pleased for you that your wayward mojo returned, damn decent of her. Sad to see that Tricia is closing ... July wont be the same without a trip to Loxton, pleased you managed to get one more in.
Cheers Sue
ps good to see Marks place coming along .... once they get going they seem to move along pretty quickly.

I'm making my Monday holiday a sewing day--it's "Labor Day" here in the US and luckily I only have to work at one of my jobs! Those spindles are great looking and all your storage goodies just as great. Hope they help you corral the fabric and such!

As you can tell from all the comments, there are a lot of envious gals out here in blogland, after looking at your purchases. I'm absolutely drooling over that cupboard and the spools.

What a lot of lovely purchases you made in Loxton. I presume that gift shop was LaVilla? If so, that is moving to where Tricia's shop is now, so you'll have to come back and visit later in the year!!
