I will miss him being here with us.....he came home for a few months several years ago! Good luck to him and his lovely GF in the new house! Mark has, over the years, been responsible for a few breakages around the house (mostly due to some sort of ball incident!) ..... he hasn't always been the tidiest housemate.......and he had a penchant for leaving cupboard doors open and lights on.....so it was interesting to note how "protective" he is of his house! We were going to look at the house the other night after work........he looked at my shoes...nice heels...and said "you won't be wearing those in the house will you?".......I am thinking there won't be any footy being played in the passage or goal kicking practice through doorways...... he did ask if it was really necessary to have the air con on today......LOLOL......and it won't take long to work out that the dishes he leaves in the sink in the morning will still be there when he gets home that night.......I am sure he will cope wonderfully well.....and being a teacher on school holidays means he will have time to settle in before the new school year........
The Prince and I also managed to fit in some last minute Christmas shopping today........not long now!!!
I have been looking at the Moda sample boxes for a while now......and last week Kris surprised me with one for my birthday......along with a little Natalie Bird book of stitchery patterns......
Both got the seal of approval from my Christmas ducks!
During the year I participated in a Christmas in July swap.....among the gifts that I received from May Kristin was a trio of beautifully made woollen hearts.........I love them!! It was a fun swap and a good chance to start on Christmas projects early......shame I didn't take the chance..LOL.......and speaking of Christmas....and swaps........my SSCS parcel is still intact ......the Christmas bear has taken "beary" good care of it.......
'Til next time............................Lorraine...........(only six more sleeps!!!)

pleased to hear that present is still wrapped under the tree........
i was a slob until i left home and then i became house proud. these days the house trashed again - one of the perks of having children. Does the house seem rather empty now???

I think it is so funny that our sons (I have 3) will do anything for their wife/GF, but when they were living at home, it was like pulling teeth. I'm glad it turns out that way. I wouldn't want my DIL's to think that I didn't teach them anything! Hee Hee!!!
In a sense we lead parallel lives with our sons. Only mine still lives home only away at college the majority of the time. It is the holidays so he is home and as I read your post....DITTO here! OMG...when did they stop picking up after themselves? Going crazy here.
Happy Holidays!!

I love your photos and have the Natalie Bird book. I love it. It has flown off the shelf here and I have several shop samples from the book up at Bearpaws and Hollyhocks. You are indeed blessed and well deserving of all that is good.
