Sunday seems to be the day..............

........that I find time to post! One more week and I will be on leave....looking forward to some dedicated stitching time......Lilly's quilt is finished and has been given to Lilly........I hope she enjoys it .......I really enjoyed working on it......

I haven't had a chance to do much stitching this weekend but did make a start on the quilting of the Leanne's House wallhanging I prepped last week......

The stitching is a little uneven....certainly not perfect.....but then again - what is perfect....sometimes that which seems so isn't! So.....moving on......................on Friday I achieved (there's my word for this year again!) 100 workouts at Curves........so on to the next 100!

'Til next time.....................Lorraine

Congrats on your achievements (that's a good word for the year!) with the quilting and working out. Its so nice when you can overcome the "inactivity gene" and get things done! I've gotta get to my own not-so-perfect handstitching today so I can reach my goal of three projects a month finished, on this last day of January!

Lovely hand-quilting on your Leanne's House quilt. That's true dedication, spending so much time on one project. Keep up the good work! Have fun counting down the days until your work leave. Oh boy for you!

Congrats on your 100 workouts. I haven't been back since I tore my hamstring back in Nov. I healed quickly but then Xmas came, then it was too hot, excuses excuses. You put me to shame. I'll start tomorrow. Well done on your finishes too. xx Sue

Congrat's on the 100. Be proud of yourself!
Your stitching looks great on your project. I think that has to be one of my goals this year -- try hand quilting. I love the look of it and I'm too chicken to try it.
