Progress and a new companion........

.....I  made some progress over the weekend......and put together the quilt frame....I was pretty happy with my efforts........just needs a quilt on it now!  Hopefully this weekend..........

Some progress in the sewing room as well.............still need to get some storage sorted out so I can finish unpacking the last of the boxes........looks like someone is all set to stitch......

...........and I am sure you are dying to know about my new companion!.....This "hottie" has been my constant companion over the past couple of weeks.....

.......unpacking and moving things around has upset my neck and back and the wheat bag brings me some relief........along with several trips to the physio...another one tomorrow morning......!

On the stitching front - I managed to finish the applique round of the paper bag quilt and get it back to Jane........I think I did well to keep track of the paper bag during the move!  Now I need to go and pick up the next one!  I have put in about a dozen stitches on the Gardener's Journal block......which means I have some catching up to do.......!

Thanks to everyone who left comments or sent emails following my last couple of posts....some of you are set to "no reply" so I haven't been able to get back to you......your good wishes and support has meant a lot to me - thank you!

'til next time.................Lorraine

We should see some pretty fancy quilting coming from that big gadget! Take care of those muscles!!

Nothing like a heat pack to help a sore neck and back feel better. Is that an Ikea table I can spy in the corner? (it folds down to a slim sideboard, I think) Take it easy with your back and neck.

That sewing room looks anxious for someone to try it out! I hope you've managed to do that... a little something just for you.
