Sewing Room tamed!

Yay......it's soup weather.....! ...the weekend gave us a taste of the winter to come and it was a good chance to make a pot of soup........there should be enough to last me the next few days!!

I had a day off work today and spent the entire day in the house trying to get some semblance of order into the sewing / quilting rooms and my walk in robe which had become a sort of dumping ground for anything I couldn't find a home for........it was fast becoming a "look from the door" robe as it was becoming difficult to actually walk into it! I think it is coming together now........here is the sewing room at the end of the day...........................

"Benny" has even made it up on to the sewing table!! Still a bit of "tweaking" to do.....a bit more storage space and a cutting table....... which currently has the computer on it.......and I am hoping I might even get to do some stitching soon!!

Oh....I did leave the house for a little while tonight.....it was time for a puppy visit......I only took one pic...(I was too busy cuddling)...and two weeks ago these little guys were not mostly just eating and sleeping.....wow...what a difference a couple of weeks makes.......they are up and about and their personalities are coming to the fore! .....and they are a moving target to try and get a decent photo.......this is little Rose at the front of the pack with the others looking on......loving those ears.....they are looking a little more like Cocker Spaniel ears.....

I promise I will do better with the pics next time! oh....I guess I shoud 'fess up.......there will be loads more pics I am sure.....little Rose is coming home with me in late June......!

'Til next time............................Lorraine

I have just been cutting vegetables that look very much like yours for soup. It MUST be the weather.

Sewing room is looking good there Loz. And I bet you cant wait to bring Rose home!

Rose is so cute!! She looks a lot like my cocker...who is buff and cream. Oliver is such a good dog, although it took 2 years for him to stop peeing on people when they came to the door. Apparently cockers have that "excitement" problem...lol

The sewing room is looking good...would love to see the rest of the house...hint hint...

Sewing room tamed!!! You have been a busy girl. I worked in my sewing room today too. Moved furniture on the weekend and now I'm sorting.

Looks good!

Well, you know I love a good puppy picture, but I have to say I was blown away by your beautiful sewing room!
Almost (well, maybe a little) makes me want to go straighten up my area.
So much nicer admiring yours.

We're warming up here in the US but that soup still looks yummy!

Glad to see you're getting some space to work in for future sewing and creating.

Rose is cute, of course, but oh! are you ready for a baby?

That's a beautiful new autumn-looking header, and the soup looks yummy. I can see you're in the mood to enjoy fall, being nearly ready to hunker down for some organized sewing. That room is looking good. Sounds like you'll have a loveable someone to snuggle with soon too! Life is nearly perfect, isn't it?

Love your new sewing room. It looks so cosy, but where, I ask, is the doover?? Gorgeous puppies! Bring on the soup. I made a 44 gallon drum of minestrone the other day and it went down a treat in this weather.

Sewing room looks good, if you have a minute you can come and try and do something with my disaster lol. TOO much sewing and buying and not enough finding places to put things. i had a feeling that one of those puppies was going to find a home at your place.

I'm not surprised at all - how could you not bring Rose home? And what about Beatrice? Soup is on the menu everywhere I think - home-made pea and ham for our tea tonight.

Every blog I have been to so far has a new header, and soup, I've just been writing my weekly menu, and it is soup, soup and more soup, we can't get enough of it.
When I saw the puppy pics a while back, I did wonder if one of them would be finding a home with you. She looks gorgeous, she will be quite grown up by the end of June
