Port Pirie - Day One

Robyn at Country Hart designs is playing host to a bunch of us this weekend......we came to see these two

.........after they finished playing they happily posed for this......

Yes..the lovely Gail Pan and Natalie Ross.....................who looked after the 40+ ladies who gathered at Robyn's wonderful shop - Country Hart Designs - well they taught while Robyn and her staff looked after us.........Here are a couple of pics of the shop (which I didn't know even existed until Gail said she was coming to teach here!).....

In the true tradition of quilty weekends away there was fab food........great conversation......lots of laughs....oh and even some stitching......and Robyn's give aways and goodie bags have been more than generous.....this shop is a must to visit if you are in the vicinity........it is a couple of hours drive from where I live...but it's an easy (and at this time of year) a very pretty drive......

I started on the stitchery (eventually - after taking a tour of the shop and settling in!) for a block keeper by Gail.......

More pics to follow tomorrow night .........I am off to bed...it was an early start this morning after a late night last night...I was puppy sitting for Mark and Terri......those puppies played.....and played.......and then played some more.....the kittens didn't join in - even with my superior ringmaster talents I think it would have been a tad too much!  Rose was very sleepy this morning and didn't really want to get up......Mark and Terri are returning the favour tonight and Rose is having a sleep over at their place......I do hope they get some sleep!

'Til next time..............Lorraine

Hey Loz, so glad to hear you are having a good time in Pt Pirie ... but now I am really sad that I am not there!!!! Was thinking bout it and it was all a bit too hard ... But with no Loxton this year it is a bit sad!!!! :( Oh well maybe next time. Look forward to seeing the projects you have undertaken. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!! Cheers S x
