Block 5......check

Block 5 of the Civil War Block of the Week ........done!

Leanne mentioned in her comment on the last post that Rose must love my camera.......LOL...here is the look I get when she has had enough of the camera being pointed at her.......

Keep cool if you are in Aus.......it's 32C here and it's only just after 7.30am........heading for 42C.  Cooler tomorrow......here's hoping!

'Til next time...................Lorraine

I looked at that block on the Civil War blog earlier this morning, amazing how different fabric choices change the look of the block. Rose has that long suffering look on her face.

Your Civil War blocks are just fantastic! Come up here and give me lessons on those pesky triangles. Love your colours too. There's something fascinating about these blocks, isn't there? Love 'em!

So many people are making those blocks. I love to see all the variety!

It was lovely warm here today. A springtime day in the middle of winter.

Lots of little pieces in those blocks - you sew them beautifully.

All you quilt stitchers out there make me jealous. I love quilts, but can't sew.
I'm keeping cool here, haven't been outside since 6:30am yesterday when I went to buy the paper. 5 minutes to hang the washing doesn't count.

I've just stumbled across your blog - how fun to find another South Aussie. Love your progress on the Civil War Quilts blocks, this is going to be a super quilt.
Hope you're coping with the heat.
*hugs*

Scarlett gives me that same look whenever I get the camera out. When she looks back over her childhood she'll think she had a permanent puss on from 18 months through to 4.
