Sunday again......

Another week has flashed by........not much going on here.........work/home/sleep.....that was pretty much the week for me.  I have been tired and my usual night owlishness has given way to early nights....which means not much stitching going on in the evenings.  I have managed to catch up with my CW Block of the Week - well...apart from the new one from yesterday that is........that might have to wait until next weekend.

Here are my blocks to date.....in no particular order........

It's been a fun project so far....hopefully I will manage to keep up.....otherwise I will have a wallhanging...LOL

My Tis the Season Stitch Along project has not progressed at all.......I had to re-think the fabrics I am using and I have put it on the back burner for now...but I will get myself motivated to get back into it soon.  I had better or I will have Chooky on my back!

Rose and I have been walking every morning......no more falling down now that daylight saving is finished and we are walking in daylight again!  Having her little face looking at me every morning all happy and waiting for her walk makes me get myself up and out walking.....not sure I would be as motivated if it wasn't for her!

I have been meaning to get out into the garden for a couple of weekends now....and some rain yesterday meant that the ground was a little softer and the weeds came out easier....so this afternoon I spent a couple of hours weeding the front garden.....it looks way better now .......and I feel better for doing it. By the time I messed around in the back garden planting some gifted plants it was time to come in and cook dinner......Mark and Terri come around on Sunday nights so I make an effort and cook!  LOL.....I do cook during the week .......sometimes........tonight I made a big dish of lasagne and pumpkin soup....so I should be ok for meals for a few days with what is left over.

So not much exciting stuff going on here........I hope to kick the remnants of the virus to the kerb soon so I can resume my evening stitching.  Last week I didn't even turn the computer on most nights......so need to catch up with what everyone in blogland is up to.........

'Til next time..........................Lorraine

I like the consistency of color in your Civil War blocks. It will pull the quilt together.

I love the colors of your blocks. I still want to do this project and am saving all the blocks and directions. Hopefully I can get to it soon! Yours are all wonderful.

Your CW blocks are looking brilliant. I had a great weekend sitting under a quilt and stitching. (I have only 2 TTS blocks left to stitch! I am enjoying it so much I have traced off a second set.) I think though the desire just to sit and stitch was a precursor to a virus. Last night I had a sore throat and today it is worse! Hope your week is excellent!

I have had so much trouble getting back into non daylight savings time and have been megga tired too. Don't the weekend come and go so quick.

The CW blocks look great, really nice colours.
I have been feeling tired with the end of daylight savings too and we seem to have snapped from summer to winter overnight! It was freezing here yesterday! I haven't walked for weeks now and my bones are letting me know so I must brave it soon - although Angus got wet this morning so that doesn't inspire me much.

It's hard not to go walking when you have a doggy face looking at you each morning, it makes them so happy, sometimes I think that would be a good reason to get another dog (maybe)
Your CW blocks look good in those colour ways and you've done the stars as well, mine are hidden somewhere in my sewing room.

Your CW blocks look wonderful together. Your chosen fabrics are so consistent. (I fear mine are too haphazard, and I don't like that as much.) I hope to get caught up on mine soon, before an upcoming, rare vacation. Even at only one per week, I've gotten behind in a flash!

I can just see Rose's sweet face looking up at you, waiting for that walk each day.

Know exactly how you feel - hope you feel 100% very soon. CW is looking great.

Your blocks are looking good- your fabrics look good together. I think a lot of us can understand that feeling of not quite getting to where we want to over the week, the days can blur into each other and then it is the weekend again- our weather was cold and grey last week- but nice and sunny for the last few days- it sure does lift the spirits! Hope you find the right fabric for your Stitch-a Long. I'd best get moving with mine too!

I am sure I have suffered from change of clocks. I spent all last Tuesday yawning. Do I have to mention it ............it is cold LOL

Good job keeping up with those CW blocks--they lookd terrific all together.

My garden needs that kind of attention too, but I'd rather sew!
