Almost caught up..........

Some serious cutting and sewing over the weekend resulted in me finally being caught up with my Civil War block of the week....phew..........well.....I was caught up until Saturday evening when the next block was posted.

Here is a pic of the blocks so far.............this was a random pinning of the blocks to a sheet which I pinned to the curtains so there may be some tweaking of the final lay out.....I am pretty happy with most of the blocks.....it's a fun project and the blocks go together really quickly and easily (mostly!)  - I decided early that I would limit the colours to browns/pinks/reds - because those are the fabrics I had on hand and I am not buying any more.

The days are getting longer......I know that because I can now see my keys to get in the front door when I get home from work.... and the sun has been out the past few days which always makes you feel better I think.

My sleep pattern is still majorly disrupted from staying up to watch the Tour - I guess it will take a little while to get back to normal.....whatever "normal" is.

'Til next time....................Lorraine

Lots of work there, Loz. You've persevered admirably, and you must be so happy about using only your stash. Great work!

Oh gorgeous! I like the controlled colorway--makes it easier to enjoy each block without getting distracted by splashy loud blocks :)

Your longer days mean shorter ones over here... :(

The blocks look gorgeous. That's going to be another bee-yoo-tiful quilt Loz.

I noticed it was a little lighter at 6.30 yesterday morning too. I'm hanging out for Spring!

Looks good, I should probably think about doing that with my blocks, I'll get a better idea of which colours to add more of.
I don't have a sleep pattern as yet, but I have noticed the days are getting longer, yay spring will be here soon.

The blocks look fabulous all together and I think it's a great idea to limit your colours. It's amazing how many of these colours you'll find in your stash.

Only one block left or are there more rows? It looks good and roll on summer.

What a great feeling to be caught up, even if only for a moment! It is looking fantastic! Well done. Hey, I'm having trouble with the whole sleep thing too. Perhaps I should have watched the tdf! Might have fixed it for me.
