If you can't play the game......

is the next best thing to join the commentary team for the local radio station??

Mark was disappointed when his team missed out on playing in the footy finals.....so he probably wouldn't think so ........but he has been having fun (and I think doing a great job! .....am I biased? ....yes, absolutely!) commentating the games for the local radio station.

Here he is in action yesterday.....(and photo credit to Terri - I pinched the pic from her FB page) ......he is known as "Captain Cliche"  - the statistician keeps track of his cliches along with game stats......

Having a house  work kinda Sunday....didn't plan it that way.......but one thing leads to another - I am intending to be in the sewing room for the rest of the afternoon though.

'Til next time................Lorraine

I bet he's as good calling the footy as he is playing it.

I didn't touch a minute of housework all weekend...you're a better woman than I am .

Fame at last! Good on him. And I'm sure he did an excellent job (Statitician notwithstanding. All the pros are cliche ridden, just means he's a pro!)

It was a housework kind of weekend here too. A little pies and tarts, but no sewing machining.

Aren't all footy commentators Kings of Cliche? Good on Mark - I'm sure he's having a ball (even if he's not on the field).

We had a grandchild weekend! :-)

Looks like he knows what he is doing- it would be good to have a 'housework fairy' to wave a wand and have it all done so that we could get on with the fun stuff!
