GDITC - and the Peg and Dale journey continues...

We left Nundle on Sunday morning and got back to Lise's house late afternoon yesterday ....this is the car unpacked onto Lise's verandah......and this was after Tracey had taken her "stuff" home.........this post is in reverse order so bear with me........

The plan was to take Jazz on the trip but the boot of Lise's car was a bit more accommodating........

Tracey was pretty much "packed" into the back seat....and she is still smiling ....although I think that was more about the prospect of seeing her family again.......

We got off to an early start yesterday which gave us a chance to call into the Bendigo Woollen mill and Bendigo Pottery.......see .....I bought wool......does that make me a knitter??  LOL

who could resist these yummy colours.....

Peg and Dale were finding it hard to choose as well.......yes.....we found the stowaways when we got to Narrandera to spend the night on Sunday night.......

Bendigo Pottery...................

Graham was making a lid for a pickle jar and kindly consented to having his pic taken (and posted.....)

Earlier in the day we stopped for breakfast at Echuca.....we had been on the road since 6am and were ready for a break........After breakfast I may have found a lovely shop and may have bought something.....actually the box is for me.....but packed inside the box is something for Rhiannon.......so it really isn't all about me....LOL

Peg and Dale waiting for their breakfast ....taking in the view........

........and the view was fabulous............

Cute Beechworth Bakery bears.....

....and yummy Beechworth Bakery food.......mmmmmmmm.....

Now.....back to Nundle......I did warn you this post was all over the place.....some of the GDITC bloggers................

Did I say Sue Daley was the tutor for the day???...... most of us worked on clamshells.... there were some (who shall remain nameless Chooky.....who went against instruction and started on the other project......

 Deb........our table and room mate.........

Tracey.....yep...there is always an over achiever on every table.....Tracey was ours....love your work Trace............

My clamshells under construction...........

Lise and I took a break from clamshells and visited the Nundle Woollen mill......mmmmmmm!!

some random shots from the store in the old mill................

Loved the little red jacket on the left......one just like it may have found a home in my suitcase.....maybe.....

Dawnie bought green wool to make the tea cosy on the right....(no pressure Dawnie.......but looking forward to seeing pics on your blog soon......)

Dawnie, Donna and Suzie....

Everyone "hard at work...................."

The project we were working on.....

Some of Sue's quilts on display in the hall....

Getting organised..............

Anita and I......OK Anita...you win with the biggest name tag of the day.... LOL

Cardy and Anita at the "after party" in Cabin 5......

"OMG Dale.......we are never going to get her case shut.........she bought way too many clothes with her........"

Yesterday we had a long day on the road before stopping at Narrandera ......Peg and Dale checking out the towel animals on their bed.........

"Gee Peg......don't know about yours but mine looks ok....."

They wanted to stay in Grong Grong but Lise wanted to keep going for a bit longer....

The kid in the back finally got her Bubble O Bill ice cream.....she was a happy camper!!!

The navigator's seat......is that a new bag?????

We had a comfort stop for Peg and Dale who had been drinking too much coffee....

They weren't too sure about the facilities.......but when ya gotta go....ya gotta go.....

Lise was very good at stopping for photo ops along the way.............

Well....I think that's about enough for today......I have some more pics I took along the way yesterday but will save those for another post......I need to get myself (and my stuff) packed into Jazz and head off to visit with Lenora........

Thanks Kerry for a fantastic GDITC ......I had a ball.....and have marked it in my calendar for next year!

'Til next time..............Lorraine

You must be amazing packers to fit all those goodies in the car!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip..

Whew I'm exhausted and you all must be to. What a fun post and so much to look at - you girls know how to pack it all in - and in the car as well. If there's even a glimmer of a spot in a car - we girls can find it for more of our treasures. I'm so happy your having a wonderful time :)

Hugs - Karen

Oh I just love all the pics. On no "maybe's" about getting that Red jacket - more like "Havebe's" - you looked great in it and it was just you - am sure you will get lots of wear out of it . glad you are now home safe, and yes the knitting needles plan to get started on the tea cozie this week.
