At last.......

Over the past few weekends I have had some fun things on.....a workshop and visits with friends and family which means that the house has finally put its hands up and said "enough"....well....if it could it would have!  There just didn't seem the time to do things that really needed doing....and those weeds won't poison themselves will they?  So I took a couple of RDOs from work and had a long weekend!  It was very productive!  No more dust bunnies (such a nice name for dirt!) under the lounge, paw prints on the floors, washing in the basket....and best of all I found my sewing machine!  ....along with the computer desk and the floor in the sewing room ...it seemed anything that didn't have a "home" found one in my sewing room.  It took a while...but I even managed to get some sewing done late yesterday afternoon....yay for me!

One of Rhi's girlfriends is having a baby in December and I finally got the quilt top put together for her yesterday.....Jianna chose all the fabrics from my stash and I cut the pieces and sent it down to her - she played with them for a while and sent them back for me to stitch........just needs a border and it's done!

....and while I was tidying up I found my Sue Daley hexi project...happily waiting in a basket for me to get back to it........I made loads of the first couple of "instalments".....and none from most of the others.....one day.................

So.....back to work this morning........and the sun is shining! .....and the house is clean and tidy......all is well in Lozza's world!  (it doesn't take much.....LOL)

This little guy was found in a box with some of his friends so came out to brighten up the kitchen table with some daisies....after sweet peas they would have to be my favourite flower....so bright and cheery!

Yikes.....time to go back to work!!

Til next time....................Lorraine

Feels good to catchup doesn't it. Gets overwhelming sometimes. I'm trying to have a cleanup. Aiming for a draw a night. Wow I have soooo much stuff. Gonna take me more than a long weekend. Oh well, slow and steady wins the race. Have a good day at work Lorraine.

Very cute baby quilt Loz. The colours are perfect !

A couple of RDO’s sounds like a lovely way to have an ultra long weekend. I always feel like Im the Queen of the World when I manage to have a clean house and sew all in the same weekend!

"Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flowers?" *sigh* I love that movie! And yes, I think daisies are the friendliest flowers. Your home looks lovely. It seems some RDOs are just what you needed.
