My Day

A beautiful day in London...cool and clear....perfect to do a bit of washing and reorganize the suitcases which looked like they had broken open and vomited their contents over the floor! While the washing was in I took myself down to Putney High Street for brunch.....oh wait....this was before the food arrived ....hot chocolate.......mmmmmm

Found some interesting shops and may have also found a nice casual cardy....and (the real Cardy)........you will be pleased to learn it's not black!

Thought I would share some pics from the walk......

We are under a flight path for Heathrow Airport and I am enjoying seeing the planes and not being in one for a change! Will be nice to have a break from airports and planes for a few days......I wonder how much of our holiday time was taken up with waiting.....waiting for buses, trains, planes, taxis....what we didn't have to wait for was good times.....they were there for the taking!

More exploring tomorrow..........

'til next time..............Lorraine

The pics are great. Love the river scenes, they are like postcards.

However, they are all blurry (out of focus on my screen)when I view your blog, but if I click on them, they are perfect. Not sure why that is (?).

Enjoy lovely London!

cheers- Joolz

Ah! The iconic red double decker bus.
Love the river scenes, but like Joolz said they seem to be out of focus a bit on my screen. Like a faded postcard. The red tree is stunning.
