Someone has had a big day!

Today marked the official opening of the Festival of Loz....it seems my birthday rolls around faster each year...!  I am sure time goes quicker as you get older......

It was a lovely day......!  Rhi and Wade arrived early and helped with the final preparations for lunch......Wade teamed up with my boss to do the cooking this year...Mark, you are back on the roster for next year!

I will admit this pic was staged as I didn't get out with the camera in time to see the full array of goodies on the bbq...good job Wade!

I didn't get around to taking many pics at all....too busy socialising...! but Wade is multi skilled and doubled as photographer as well as cook!  Hoping to see a bit of the kids while they are on school holidays.....me and my girl.......

Which brings me to the reason for the title of this post....you thought it was me who had a big day...(well I did...but not as big as this little girl!).......Plumb tuckered out......she is now snoring on the couch...LOL  She had such a good time with everyone here....and when they left she sniffed around for any morsel of food left on the ground....and with little ones there is always something!

Everything is now tidied up and ship shape ready for another working week.....last night was a work Christmas function which was quite a late night so after today's festivities it will be an early night for me....I won't go and sit on the couch for fear I will be just like Rose in a few minutes!  But I will enjoy a cuppa and a snowman before I head off to bed.....

Have a great week.

'Til next time.....................Lorraine
