Arriving in London they found a place to live and settled in to working to fund their travels in the UK and Europe and have certainly made the most of their time over there! I visited them in November last year and had a fantastic time .......having been on a working holiday to the UK almost 40 years ago (yikes!) it was great to visit some of the places I visited then...and some new ones as well.......
The year has flown by and whilst I miss them both terribly I realise that this is the time to have these adventures and with technology as it is these days it is easy to catch up with email,texts,viber,whatsapp,instagram,skype,facebook........and there are probably more......unlike the reverse charge phone calls and aerogram letters which were the only options when I was away all those years ago......
This is one of my favourite pics of them taken while I was there in November.....I think they are a little "over" the weather and looking forward to some sunshine.......
Looking forward to seeing them again when they get home later this year........

Its wonderful to travel, there is so much to see out there. I bet you miss them though.
It will be lovely to have your family home but they might have the travel bug and be off again.

Your son is so good looking! Great adventures make for wonderful lifelong memories. Glad they have made the most of it :)
I can remember when you said they were leaving and yes this past year has gone way fast.
