Another weekend bites the dust......

No sooner is it Friday night than Sunday afternoon rolls around signalling the end of another weekend.....

Yesterday I drove to Adelaide to catch up with the two travellers - it was great to see them both and hear about their trip.  They had a great time and are keen to go back and see a little more of the US.

They even bought back gifts!!  A scissor fob and a San Fran trolley car to go with the charms I bought in the US last year....a 2014 diary and a little New York bag, perfect for my phone and keys when Rose and I go walking.......

 And a new mug....love it!!

Today has been quiet......slept in.....got a  few things done around the house and did some stitching while I watched the MotoGP......made some binding for Evie's quilt and stitched it on ready for hand sewing tonight.

Rose has been doing what she does best....just being Rose......keeping an eye on everything that is going on just in case she is needed to help.......this was taken after our every-other-day grooming session to try and keep those curls in order.....she doesn't like it at all......but if we keep at it we might get somewhere.....and there are always treats at the end of the session......so it isn't all bad!

Time for some dinner and stitching......and back to work tomorrow...!!

'Til next time........................Lorraine

Aren't they sweet to bring you such lovely gifts. Must be nice to have them home again. The GP was a bit exciting today, I even had to put my quilting down at one point!

I've given up trying to groom Coco her curls are so tight it is just about impossible, its easier just to get her clipped every 8 weeks. I am sure it is great to have the kids home.

I added to my Pandora bracelet while I was away too - an apple from New York, dice from Las Vegas, the SanFran trolley car and a round charm with flower lei from Hawaii.

That quilt looks really pretty!

Cheers - Joolz xx

Poor Rosie, she does look a little put out. :-) Mine don’t like it much either.

Such lovely presents but them being home is the best present. Wonderful colours in the quilt you're binding. Rosie looks so sweet.

Weekends are much too short! I always consider Thursday night the beginning of the weekend, because none of it is wasted yet. Your weekend was full and that makes it go even faster.
