Not long now........

.....when I bought milk at the supermarket today I was pleased to see that the "use by" date was after Mark and Terri get home...which means it must be soon! Yay!!  Four sleeps actually.......after 18 months away there will be plenty of celebrations to come.....Mark's birthday (the 13th), missed birthdays, Christmas, New Year........well, you name it, we will celebrate it! (of course there is the Festival of Loz in December....and it's a "big number" this year!) Yikes!!!

It's been a busy week at work, we had a breakfast function yesterday but I guess if you have to attend a work function on a Saturday morning there are worse places.......Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre...great views...perfect weather and even better, the breakfast was amazing!

After breakfast it was off to spend the day with the girls for some stitchin' and b*****n'  certainly was good to catch up with everyone, and I finished off the binding on quilt #2 ....

quilt #1.....with guard dog....

and here they are ready to post tomorrow....

 couldn't resist this pic.....love a scrappy binding ......

Thanks to Val for getting them quilted so quickly for me....and I hope they are enjoyed by their new owners.......pretty sure they don't read my blog so the parcel should be a surprise.....

I have some secret stitching to get done before the end of the month and starting cutting out a new quilt today (as you do!) so might have something else to show next time.......

'til then............................Lorraine

You are so productive don't know what I am wasting my time on. Perhaps I will have take photos of the shirt I mended and the hem I took up just to make it seem like I am doing something. LOL

What does “permeate free” mean on the milk jug? You don’t see that here.
