A little win and some felty fun...

Last week I was lucky enough to win a prize (thanks to Jan who tagged me as her co-winner) from Lisa at a Spoonful of Sugar in a give away on IG .....and I was thrilled with the parcel when it arrived.....cute wrapping in an old paper pattern.....

Liberty loveliness...lace, tape, scissors and thread/ribbon "bobbins"... All very useful goodies...thanks Lisa, very generous!

.....and the felty fun? A weekend with Wendy Williams at Hetties Patch....very inspirational and Wendy is a talented designer and excellent teacher....Kathy Doughty was teaching in the other classroom at Hetties and by all accounts everyone in that class also had a great time...

Kathy dropped in after her class last night as we were wrapping up....

Helen took a break from working in the shop to join us for the weekend and was happy to show off one of Wendy's quilts....

I spent a while deciding what to make....and practiced some stitching on a few samples.....

Checked out Wendy's fabulous work.....

Changed my mind (several times) about what I was going to make and decided on the sewing case cover (which may turn out like Wendy's in time)....

So far so good........
So a little homework to do......'til next time.....Lorraine
