It was Pan-demonium!

What fun we had last weekend when Gail Pan arrived in town for a stitching day.....we transformed part of a town hall to host the stitchers who would be arriving bright and early on Saturday...

As we were setting up on Friday and I was in the kitchen of the hall filling the urn and rummaging in cupboards for cups and saucers etc I wondered just how many functions this beautiful old building had "hosted"....huge old kettles that had been filled and refilled to make countless cuppas....so much history! ...and we were about to add another bit of history of our own.....

A very wet and cold Saturday morning was soon brightened up as the girls arrived for the day.....the first cuppas were made and there was a definite buzz as everyone settled in.....And this....

Became this.....

....and here is Gail introducing herself and the projects for the day....With Her Maj watching on!

There was shopping to be done.....

Samples to admire and inspire.....

And of course food, glorious food.....

And even some stitching.......

A bit of planning....

and some show and tell....

And even a little finish.......

And the fun didn't stop there......we caught up with Nay and Anne for breakfast on Sunday before Gail headed home....

A great time.....lets do it all again another day!

'Til next time...............Lorraine
