I'm late....I'm late.....

no, not for an important date ....just to post and catch up with what's been happening at Chez Loz and beyond....

the first week in September saw Michelle arrive from Hobart so a road trip was in order as she had expressed an interest in going to the patchwork shops in Port Lincoln....so I took a few days off work and we set off at the crack of dawn (literally) for the seven hour drive .......one of us slept a little of the way.....one of us didn't :)

My sister lives in Tumby Bay a little before Port Lincoln and it's never a bad place to visit and catch up with my big sister......

Rose came with us and is a great traveller.....she DID sleep most of the way, only surfacing to see where we were when I stopped for fuel then settling back again to snooze. She was happy to get out and stretch her legs once we got to the beach......

When we weren't out sight seeing we set ourselves up in Marilyn's sewing room and only came out for meals - which were cooked for us by M's hubby.  spoilt!!

Lots of beach walks - mostly at dawn and sunset - were the order of the week and the cold windy weather of the first couple of days was followed by calm, millpond sea for the last couple.

lots of cormorants flying about but most sitting on their favourite rock......

I never tire of the rock formations at the beach on the "island" a huge contrast to the long sandy "town" beach......

Sunrise and sunset were both spectacular and one morning I encountered a thick fog....(at the beach of course, not in my head!)

A day trip to Port Lincoln and a visit to the Patchwork Pear and Ruby and Kate was fun.....I didn't take many photos...too busy looking!

Encountered this fine looking fox at the Patchwork Pear - Francie the Fox by Angel Lea Designs

...and a couple of pics from Ruby and Kate.....

All too soon it was time to head home.....we arrived mid afternoon to find the blossoms had burst on the ornamental pear trees and they were literally buzzing with busy bees......

Did a bit of touristy stuff in the area before it was time to get Michelle back to the airport to go home..there may have been some re-arranging of the suitcase to fit some of Maggie's goodies in......

...I will leave you with a pic of one of my vintage quilts with the Featherweight which I took away with me.....perfect little travel buddy!!

So here we are with September almost over....next event I am preparing for is a family one with Mark and Terri tying the knot in a couple of weeks....looking forward to having a houseful of family and friends and lots fun!  Lenny is having a sleep over here with Granny.....can't wait!!!

'til next time..............Lorraine

It's very clever how you can sleep and drive at the same time! Thanks for a lovely time!

Such a lovely place to visit with your friend. Loads of excitement for you coming up - I hope everything goes well and it is just how Terri and Mark dreamed it would be. Fun for you having Lenny sleep over. Thea is sleeping over for the first time on Friday night.

I hope your sister is coping with all the rain! And I hope you're coping with it too! It's been a little bit too much, hasn't it?

You should see how my associate Wesley Virgin's biography launches in this shocking and controversial video.

Wesley was in the military-and soon after leaving-he found hidden, "SELF MIND CONTROL" tactics that the government and others used to get anything they want.

These are the same methods many famous people (notably those who "became famous out of nowhere") and the greatest business people used to become rich and successful.

You've heard that you only use 10% of your brain.

Really, that's because the majority of your BRAINPOWER is UNCONSCIOUS.

Maybe this expression has even occurred IN YOUR own brain... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's brain around 7 years ago, while riding an unregistered, beat-up trash bucket of a vehicle without a driver's license and with $3 on his bank card.

"I'm very fed up with living paycheck to paycheck! When will I finally make it?"

You took part in those questions, isn't it so?

Your success story is waiting to be written. Go and take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
