The wedding.......

After 8 years Mark and Terri 'tied the know' on Saturday 8 October.....the weather for the past few weeks has been very hit and miss...mostly miss I have to say with most days with wind and rain or at the very least overcast conditions with cold temps......

But last Saturday dawned clear with a forecast temp of around 26C - pretty much perfect!...and it didn't disappoint - I have to say they were blessed as the weekend before the wedding Terri had her bridal shower at a winery in the Adelaide hills and the weather was pretty awful for most of the weekend except for the Sunday afternoon when the sun shone

......a few pics from the bridal shower

Terri (second from left) with her two sisters and Mum....

There was an abundance of beautiful food.....a macaroon being sampled by Gabi...

...cake surrounded by gorgeous flowers by Jess.... on IG as poppyandvine_ if you are looking for great flowers in Adelaide!

Lee enjoying a quiet white.....

Terri with Chloe (left) and Jess (the flower whisperer!)

We were asked to bring a pair of panties (new obviously!) which were pegged on a line - Terri had to guess who had bought each pair......there were some surprises!

Jess had arranged flowers on a frame for pics during the afternoon.....here is Terri with her beautiful maid of honour.....Shelley.....

...waiting for someone to join her.....I think her words were "hurry up...this is getting heavy"

With my gorgeous girl Rhiannon.....

with the MoTB and MoTG.....

and so to the wedding!!!  What a glorious day!  The wedding venue was a winery and this was taken from the car park at the barrel hall where the reception was held....the view was amazing.....I don't have a lot of pics of the wedding - I left that up to the photographer who did a fabulous job.......

Rhiannon and Wade enjoying the sun while waiting for the ceremony to begin.....

Mark waiting with the celebrant for Terri to arrive.......Terri was actually early to the wedding (she had to do a couple of laps of the venue as the celebrant was the one running a little late!)

Lenny hanging with his uncle Wade who was a groomsman and also in charge of Lenny for the ceremony......

Couldn't quite get all the boys in shot.....with six groomsmen and six bridesmaids it was a large-ish wedding party....

Mark and his best man David - they have been friends since year 3 when Mark arrived a a new school and sat next to David....

...and here she is ....the stunning bride with her Dad .......all the flowers  by Jess again......she did an amazing job!

Saying their vows and just about to be Mr and Mrs.....

my seat at the reception....

the cake......choc mud cake and red velvet cake....delicious!

..and this...this is the first face I saw on Sunday morning after the wedding.....little Lenny who had his first sleep over with Granny (first of many I hope!) We had fun!

'Til next time........Lorraine

Hey, this wedding event looks fantastic. I am so glad that you all had such fantastic time in this wedding. My wedding party was in last month and I had reserved one of best wedding venues Los Angeles for this DIY party. I arranged each and everything on my own for my most awaited event.

Fun times, yes you were fortunate with the weather, it's been very topsy Turvey of late. Lenny is gorgeous and getting to the age where their personality really starts to shine
