Well..........no! this was the scene outside my bedroom window.....this was the quiet bit......the noisy bit was the digging of the trench......had to be up early anyway had errands to run......they are all done....doctor visit over......breakfast at Blond a bit of retail therapy at the fabric shop and I am now back home and about to retire to the sewing room.....corned beef in the slow cooker so dinner is on the go........Have to go and pick Mark up later when he gets back from work....but apart from that the day is mine.....mine....all mine!!!

Aren't slow cookers/crockpots The Best invention? Love mine - made pea and ham soup yesterday, and slow cooked corned beef is delicious. Hope you have a great holiday.
I've never tried corned beef...is it difficult to make? I love my crockpot!
