Happy Jack and general goodness!

Tara made my day today.........................

.............."Happy Jack" arrived at my house......pincushion goodness....thank you soooo much Tara...I love this little guy.....and the wool felt flower pincusion is so cute....that will be perfect for my little applique pins! I saw Happy Jack on your blog just before you sent him off and thought he was great....and now he is mine....all mine....!! sorry....not the best photo but it was dark by the time I got home and I can't wait until morning to post this.....
Not much going on here........I have been doing a bit of stitching and making headway on my cupcake swap which I can't show you at this point in time.....this was the scene yesterday when I left for work...isn't it fabulous....rain...!! and hopefully more to come....

Saturday night we dined with friends......and had this to go with the meal...................

Well the others did.....I don't drink wine and truly believe it would have been wasted on me.....so left them to it! they seemed to enjoy it..!

I have been doing some needleturn applique on #4 "Finish Five by the end of July" challenge....A design by Leanne started in Loxton last year and I am off to Loxton again next week......so no pressure!! ......it has advanced a little from this pic...the three flowers are done and I am on to leaves.......not sure if I will get this finished, but will give it my best shot............

Just a short chat tonight.....thank you again Tara for the pincushions and to Linda for organising the swap....onto the bag and bucket swap next.....woo hooo.......although I have to admit I am not a bag maker so this will be a bit outside my comfort zone...but I am up for a challenge.....

'Til next time........................Lorraine
