I managed to spend a couple more hours in the sewing room this afternoon....my shoulder is still too painful to let me spend a whole day in there....but it is slowly getting better.........back to the physio on Monday....oh ..........and it will be right just in time for work on Tuesday! yay! I finished the gift for one of the girls in our little stitching group.........I am pretty sure she doesn't read my blog so I think I am safe in posting a pic.............
Amanda isn't a "pink" or "flowers" girl so thought these fabrics would be ideal.....I have had the mesh and the pattern for ages....(a couple of years probably) and have just never gotten around to making it up......it turned out ok I think..........!
Also on the subject of bags.......I forgot to post a pic of the bag I got from The Patchwork Apple on Tuesday....since plastic bags are being phased out in supermarkets we have to take our own bags when we do the grocery shopping....I thought this one was ideal! .......I am thinking this one will be kept in my car for when I do the shopping....not sure the Prince is a huge fan of pink with black spots!!!
Lots happening in blogland at the moment with free BOMs and challenges to get projects finished......two of the BOMs I am planning to do are Gail's A Christmas Wish and Anne's A Tisket, A Tasket Twelve Months of Baskets.......I have seen the first block of Anne's finished here and here .........I am sure there are more out there somewhere!! I have gone as far as downloading and printing the pattern......!

'til next time.............Lorraine

Love your little bag and the fabric too. Love pink polka dot. I am sure that it will look good on the Prince.
What a cute lil bag, the one you made that is! The pink one is cool too, anything to cut down on the amount of plastic we make, use and waste!
I'm stitching along with a couple of BOMs too.
Hey I do read your blog but I LOVE the bag!! LOLOL Ok just kidding but I do love it. And the pink one, my friend Deb that same one, she uses it all the time. So cute.
your friend should be happy with that....looks good.......our grocery store is talking about wiping out plastic bags altogether.......
Lovely bag!
I'm sure your friend will love it!
Great bags! We're doing the same BOMs it seems. Hope I can keep up!
