Hands up if you like the heat!

You know when you wake up and you feel like you haven't slept........when the sound of mossies screeching around your head almost drowns out the sound of the weather forecaster telling you that this was the hottest night on record (yay) and there will be little (read for that NO) relief from the current hot spell for about a week.........just makes you feel fab doesn't it...! Like leaping out of bed and just getting stuck in to the day! OK I am not a fan of the heat...did you gather that????

Forgive me my little whinge!! It isn't all bad....work has air con......my car has air con......and there are lots of people who have to work out in the heat.......I get to stay indoors..........wait - I feel so much better already.....!!

I will keep looking at pics from the northern bloggers with snow banks and ice on trees.....and hope that winter isn't too far away!

I walked to work today in -5 degree weather (that's fahrenheit). It's not that far to work, but I was so cold. But, I hate the heat too, so maybe I'm not so bad off?!?

Sorry.... :o( I know how you feel. I hate the heat too. It is below zero here and finally going to make it to above the freezing mark here this weekend. It will be a heat wave!

Be careful what you wish for, Lorraine! We've got snow now being covered with freezing rain. Had a snow day from school today, but it may be that tomorrow morning will be perilous travel.

Word verification: erast which may have something to do with an empty water bottle?

G,Day, You should complain , ( smile here) you send all your heat over to us in Victoria. It beats the cold, a few days inside isn't too bad, think of all the icecream you can eat.

Hang in there. I'm drooling over snowy blog pics from the northern bloggers too. I could handle it if only it got cool at night. No such luck. The four of us slept in one room last night with the air con going most of the night.

We can do a little swap.
I send some (a lot) of snow your way and you send some heat my way :)

I love both the heat and the freezing cold! But I know how you feel when it is too hot during the night! If I could I would have sent some cooler weather your way!

Well I dislike extremes...too hot or too cold, as we're having now. Many folks in the US hit by the recent nasty storm are without power. I am thankful for power!

Oh Oh I should have been the first to comment. LOL Hand up here so wouldn't complain about the extreme however even the tough old aggies in my slow dying garden are turning up their toes.

I know how you feel, my
12yo daughter went on school camp on Wednesday to Philip Island Adventure Centre for outdoor activities - I have really worried about the heat and can't wait to have her back tonight (Fri).

Well I certainly wouldn't mind if it warmed up a bit, but I'm not a fan of the really hot humid heat we can get here either. Stay cool :)

Ah!!! Blogs with snow photos! My favourite. Amazing how cool you feel looking at those photos. The power of suggestion at work!
