Grand-Fun in the Sun

Today we drove to the city to watch Rhi's BF, Wade, play footy.........Jo organised to meet us there with the kids and we enjoyed a great day catching up with them! .........and Wade's team won so that was a bonus!
Lunch was a sausage in bread and Dylan made short work of his............

look at that face!! .(and that hair - gorgeous curls that his Mum can't bring herself to cut off yet!).....love Aunty Rhi doing her bit to pacify Ryley in the background!!

And speaking of Ryley.....she is growing up so fast................

.........and here she is with her doting Aunty! Hard to get a good pic ......Ryley is a moving target!!

All in all it was a fabulous day! Oh....and do I have pics of the footballer in action.........oooops no...! Maybe next time....he too was a moving target and until (look away now Prince!) I get my new camera those shots are a bit hard...LOL

Just before I go.......here is the quilt from yesterday...complete with binding which I stitched down last night...so a real FINISH!

Have a fab week............a short one for me....I have Friday off to prepare for Inspired Stitches and also Monday next week - to recover!

'til next time......................Lorraine

Sounds like a good day. We are all sick here and I didn't even realise it was such a great day outside. No blinds or curtains opened today. Unusual for us all to be sick at once but there it is. Hope you have a great week!

Roll on the weekend I say (might mean that it is the end of school holidays or is it inspired stitches that I am looking forward to). I have to work the first 3 days this week as the boss is away so I have 2 days to prepare and relax (well as much as you can with a 8 and 6 year old that have had enough of each other). Might have to plan some activities for them have been working way to much this school holidays and am going to be better prepared next time (oops I am going to Loxton then) well might have to take some holidays.
