Home again................

We arrived home late Wednesday night on flight QF Krispy Kreme - there were dozens of boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts being transported over the border into SA! We can't buy them here and I must admit to being unaware of their existance prior to the visit to Sydney..... the Prince's co-workers put in an order for some so we bought a couple of boxes back .....some of them didn't travel too well after being squished by someone's laptop in the overhead locker...but apparently they still tasted ok!
A few pics from the trip.....said Krispy Kremes....a survey mark on a North Sydney street (always a highlight when you travel with a surveyor!!)....BendyEm a fab street performer from Circular Quay....and the public transport map which the Prince memorised within the first hour of being in Sydney!
I have spent the past couple of days unpacking...washing....cleaning and have even managed to do some food shopping and make a roast dinner ..............we had a fab time in Sydney but it is always nice to be home.....! Oh.......more pics of the trip.......I promise that is all of them now!

The Prince went shopping while I was at the conference and bought this little guy for me.........he is very cute and has made himself at home in my china cabinet........

I have also been catching up on some emails and blog reading - so much happening out there!!

Hopefully there will be some stitching news next time.................Lorraine

We can't get Krispy Kremes in WA either so on a recent trip to NZ via Sydney we got a dozen on the way back. MMmmmmmm!!!! They are alot different to Puffin Donuts. Love following your blog. xx Sue

Oh heavens- Krispy Kreme is international??? I purposefully avoid those things. One has more calories than I even want to consider. LOL

I'm so glad you now know how decadently divine Krispy Kremes are Loz... they are my favourite of all doughnuts.
Looks like lots of fun (and exercise!) was had in Sydney. Thanks for sharing the trip. :)

When you told me about the bird that the Prince bought for you I thought, "how sweet". Had you shown me a photo I would have been blown away! I looove your bird (and the Prince is held in even higher esteem than he was before!) it is truly gorgeous!

Lol! Had to laugh about the Krispy Kremes. Sometimes when I pick my Bradley up from the airport it seems as though he is the only one on the flight from Sydney (or Melbourne) who doesn't have a box of Krisy Kremes with him. Is there a store at the airport? I don't understand Adelaide people's love affair with them. Perhaps it's just a case of wanting what you can't have! (There is even a group on facebook called "bring Krispy Kremes to Adelaide"!)

Sounds like such a wonderful trip. Someday I hope to fly thousands of miles and get the same pics of Sydney!!! The bird is fine looking and I'm sure she surveys her new domain with serenity.
