Loxton day two.....now back to the real world!

Day two ......and our group had the wonderful Anni Downs share her projects and knowledge with us......the pattern she taught hasn't been released yet so no pics of that yet....but here she is with a bag from her latest book............

Angels feature quite often in Anni's work.....and Denise and Julie decided that they had been so well behaved on Saturday that they could bring out the halos for Sunday........yeah right girls...you were only quiet on Saturday because you were BUSY!!

They forgot my halo.........I sat next to them...and it was obviously my influence that gave them the angel status!!

Peta bought along her little foster baby who needed to be fed on demand and often.......she was very well behaved...but no halo.........and didn't disrupt the class at all......

I stayed up way too late last night stiching and watching the cricket......with a later start to the day than I had planned - had a good trip home...and spent the afternoon unpacking and sorting out projects completed and "in progress"! Spent some time picking bits of gyprock cement off the floor and doing some household chores.......back to work tomorrow......

Reno update.....the gyprock guy has been.......the bedroom floor has been sanded and I have to phone the painter tomorrow .......hopefully he will have a few days he can "spare"....then the bedroom floor can be finished.....and that will put an end to that chapter.....! Mark asked tonight if there was any work planned for his room......yes...but not until after he moves out....!
'Til next time................Lorraine

What a fun treat to see your workshop and even the baby. I would have loved to have seen your halo. In fact I think of you as one of my blog angel friends!!!!

I do not think I mentioned to you that I have a give away going on right now. Check it out on my new site and save the url for the future too.

I love reading you reno updates. It is fun to see.

You have so many good workshops and stitching experiences down there.

Well my second batch of zucchini bread is about to come out of the oven. Cheerio

Looks like you girls had loads of fun. One of Annis books was recently gifted to me by Jannimary a blogger from Annis home town. I love it.

Wasn't it a great weekend I'm a little frightened to post I didn't finish one thing. I weakened and bought some shoe but not the green ones.

It sounds like fun was the name of the game all weekend--what a great way to spend time together, angels or not! Looking forward to seeing some more pics of the reno. Seems like things are turning out as you desired.

Gosh, Mark is hopeful isn't he? I'm jealous, but glad you had a great time and you are definitely angelic!

Is it possible for you to please put your quilt at the top of your blog as a separate picture. it is a beautiful combination of colors and I would love to look at it closely!
