..........the little pillow I started at the workshop with Kellie last weekend.......and finishing this followed the frustration of trying to get another finish......Lilly's quilt.......I put the newly repaired (???) Pfaff on the frame....and was all set to go ......even had extra bobbins wound.....thought I would just check the tension......and that's where the frustration came in.....after several attempts I decided my Sunday afternoon deserved better .....that's when I retreated to the sewing room and stitched the binding on the little cushion......and that made me happy!!
I will leave you with a couple of pics.........some self sown poppies in the wood pile....and a little dog who is plumb tuckered out........
You can see now why I don't put the pillow I won on Kellie's blog on the lounge!!
'Til next time...................Lorraine

Your cushion looks good! Nice work. My applique got pinned up on my noticeboard today as inspiration. I think that's where it will stay for a while!
Everyone needs a day of indulgence now and then--sewing and shopping indulgence is best. Every pup needs a pillow.
I love the cushion - the stripey binding is terrific xx
I love your poppies pictures. Is that a springer spaniel?
Congratulations on your finish! Your pillow is gorgeous! You did great on the quilting!
I love your cushion! Love the puppy shot - I can almost hear him snoring. He is precious. Your FFF comments are sure understandable. What a treat the wood pile had hidden all winter just for you. I love how you used them in your head bar! See how creative you are.
Hugs
That pillow is so sweet, you've done a great job of it. Love those poppies and to think they just self seeded..I love that!
Love that photo of Chelsea. Well done on the finished cushion.
Only looking? No chocolates and a finished cusion - pretty impressive weekend I reckon. The cushion is fantastic.
our garden was filled with those poppies at one stage, and now, every year, we get a few random plants and when I walk down the street, i find ones that have started growing in neighbours gardens (oops).
The cushion looks fabulous. I'm sorry you are not eating chocolates, if it's any consolation, I'm right there with you :(

Love your cushion, you and Bennie have done a great job. Chelsea is sooo cute, if we let our black Nixon in that's just what he would look like except Archie would be up there with him and we'd be sitting on the floor...lol
I am sorry you had sewing time like that, though!! Your cushion is gorgeous...
What a fun day we had, it was great seeing you again. Thanks so much for waiting until my mouth was empty before taking that shot. Your finished cushion is gorgeous as is the delightful Chelsea!
