......it's back to work I go!......or it could be....I Owe...I Owe...LOLOL.......although I didn't go too overboard this holiday season....didn't go out shopping......oh...except for a visit to the local antique store.....the Prince and I have accomplished quite a bit in the break over Christmas/New Year.....Mark's room is now a spare room......the house has been de-Christmassed and has been cleaned/dusted/ and had furniture changed around (and in some cases changed back again..LOL.....I haven't set any "resolutions" as such for the new year......but have a few goals I would like to work toward......including......(but not limited to) - continue my weight loss/fitness program, spend more time at home (ie not so much time at work), get some of the BOMs and kits languishing in my sewing room finished (to start would also be an achievement!)and.........well....that will do for starters!
Here are the Christmas toys packed and ready for their "hibernation" in the attic............
It took most of one day just to take down all the Christmas decorations!!....
The break from work was wonderful...I had hoped to get some stitching done...but that wasn't to be this time......(I had grand plans.....but it would have needed more than the ten days I have had off to accomplish them!!).......so since I have no stitching to show off........I will leave you with a couple of pics of the "aggies" which line the driveway......they do quite well in the heat and are keeping the bees occupied!
Wishing everyone a wonderful year in 2010......!
'til next time....................Lorraine

Sounds like you've been busy. I love the flowers! My Mother had them everywhere when we live in the state of California. Happy New Year!

DH helped me de-Christmas yesterday and finally all the boxes are put away as of today. It is a tedious process. No redecorating as yet--sometimes its nice just to have empty places for a bit!
Love the aggies==I always say you know it is summer when they are blooming! The purple ones are the most popular over here.
Oh love that jug find... very nice... and looks fab filled with roses.... lovely Agi's too....Happy, Blessed, Prosperous,Fruitful New Year 2010
Now that's the difference. You spent the last 10 days cleaning/tidying. I stitched. I guess now I will have to start the cleaning/tidying routine here!
Today I also managed to put the house back together, love your jug... just before Christmas I spotted some of the really dark blue aggies and planned to put them in a garden bed with those lime majic acacias... we have the light blue aggies here and there and they always look good....
Hope you have an easy week at work.
