Club Rouge.........

Today was the first instalment of "Club Rouge"...or Red Quilt Club at the Patchwork Apple..... Look how diligent we all are!

Dawn and Heather.......

Vicki......concentration plus...............

Jane (as always) had decorated the workshop area and it was looking fabulous......

Most of us managed (with or without trying) to enter into the theme of the day.......the red sandals got an outing....still warm enough for sandals...that hint of autumn a couple of weeks ago was just that....a hint!!

and is this not the coolest machine "carter-abouter" ??

Thanks Sara - as always a very patient teacher......"resizing" was the word for today....and doesn't it make all those little HSTs go together beautifully...................!!!

This is the little Marg Low quilt we worked on...........

The day went way too fast.......and we missed Kris.....who will be attending the Friday Club Rouge....I think there are a couple of places left....contact Jane if you are interested in attending....I can recommend it!

I even even finished a few of the blocks......I am hoping to spend part of the day tomorrow putting the top together.......during the week I received the first block in the Marg Low Christmas Club.....a table runner....in ....yep........red and white.....so had to choose a few pieces of fabric to make that up...!!

I had a great "red and white" day!

'Til next time.......................Lorraine

Looks like everyone had fun!

I love red and white quilts but have never had a house they go with. Sigh. Maybe one day I'll do one "just because". Or I could do one for Christmas!

And hey ! It's not Sunday (well technically it is I guess) and youre posting!

I would LOVE to go to Club Red, would definately clock up frequent flyer miles if I did! I was checking out one of those bags the other day at the quilt store (I dont do classes or take my machine to retreat - so I thought buying one cause it was pretty was silly LOL)
red/white is my fave colour combo....

Nice! Can't wait to get started myself. My house is screaming out for some red! (I think it goes with everything!) Love the red/white mugs on the table. Perhaps I will spend my waiting time buying red/white crockery to get my kitchen in the mood for Club Rouge!

I'll take one of those spots - well, it I lived closer, I would be there with you in a heart beat. I bet we could drag Kim along just for the fun of it.
I loved your sharing of the fun day. Thinking of you from across the pond and sending a big hug!!!!
